Curtain to go up on panto fun

OH YES it is still panto season in Lockerbie, as a free show comes to town this weekend.

Events group Junction 17 are kicking off the new year by hosting two free performances of Robin Hood for locals.

Hayley Lockerbie from the group said: “For our first event of 2017 we have decided to put on a free pantomime, Robin Hood.

“This event was funded by the Lockerbie Trust and thanks to them it will allow all the family to enjoy a day out.”

The group have two shows planned for Saturday afternoon, at 2 pm and 4 pm at Lockerbie Acacemy.

Tickets are free but all attendees must register at the group’s website www.junction17- lockerbie.org.uk and bring along their tickets on the day. Children under must be accompanied by an adult.
