Story Homes has applied for full planning to build the new properties at Marchfields, and the plans will go before councillors on the Planning Applications Committee this week.
They have been recommended for approval by planning officers, subject to a developer contribution for offsite road improvement works and other standard conditions.
A report prepared ahead of the meeting details plans for the 4.76 hectare site, which will have a mix of three, four and five-bedroom two-storey detached and semi-detached houses in a range of seven designs, some with integral or detached garages.
A single area of amenity open space is incorporated in the design, and takes in the mature sycamore tree which is covered by a tree protection order.
No developer contribution towards education is required.
