NEARLY 400 people were killed or hurt in 310 road crashes across Dumfries and Galloway last year.

Figures released this week by Transport Scotland show that locally during 2014 there were nine fatal accidents, in which a total of ten people died.
There were also 66 serious crashes and 74 people were seriously injured.
