The managers have their say after the 1-1 draw between Queens and Annan at Palmerston.
DOONHAMERS boss Peter Murphy admitted the derby draw felt like a defeat after his side conceded so late on in the game.
Murphy said: “I thought Annan were very good in the second half, while we never passed the ball.
“If we can see it through at 1-0 then that’s great. But we need to be a lot better with the performance.”
ANNAN player/manager Wullie Gibson praised his players following their ‘magnificent’ performance at Palmerston.
Gibson said: “I think you could see the fans’ reaction to the goal, to getting the point. It’s what it means not to lose a derby.
“I actually think we’re hard done by not coming away with three points. I thought we were magnificent.”
