FIVE youngsters have been picked as winners of the Annan Bridge Design Challenge.
Their blueprints for new bridges on the river beat hundreds of other entrants in the competition organised by Annan artist Jack O’Hara.
They are:
* Anastasiia Kvitko, P7, Newington Primary
* Daryl Robson, P5, St Columbas
* Hannah, P3, Hecklegirth
* Blake Weild, P6, Elmvale
* Harry McGimpsey, P3, Brydekirk
Jack said: “There were many excellent entries and all schools should be commended for taking part.
“Thanks to all pupils, staff, Annandale Observer and the Tale of Two Bridges for supporting this project.”
The winners will receive a chocolate Easter egg for their creative efforts.
