Dog attacked OAP

THE future of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier which attacked a 72-year-old man and another dog is to be decided by a Sheriff next week.

Bernard Steele, 30, of Graham Street, Kelloholm, admitted being the owner of the dog which had been on a 30 metres lead but jumped over a fence into neighbouring property .

It attacked a spaniel and bit the hand of the man.

The case was continued to July 30.
