Double delight

A DUMFRIESSHIRE horse trainer enjoyed a double victory at Kelso on Sunday.

Carrutherstown based Iain Jardine kicked off the day at Kelso with a third place finish courtesy of Lord Condi, ridden by jockey Aidan Macdonald.

It would get much better in the next race for Jardine as 9/2 shot The Delray Munky, ridden by Conor O’Farrell, won the 1.00 pm William Hill Handicap Chase.

The success didn’t end there for Jardine and O’Farrell as 11/1 shot Dino Boy romped home by 15 lengths for a superb Persimmon Homes Scottish Borders National Handicap Chase victory.
