Double show spread

SHOWGOERS had two events to choose from at the weekend with both Moffat and Newcastleton hosting their annual agricultural extravaganzas.

Saturday dawned showery but conditions improved as the day went on, although wellies were still de rigeur on both showfields.

There was plenty to see and do, with livestock judging, handicrafts, stalls, refreshments and side shows.

The main rings featured entertainment for all ages and it was also a chance to catch up with friends and neighbours.

See this week’s papers for full stories, results and photos from both Moffat, above, and The Holm, below.
