Dunbar in Six Nations return

HOMEGROWN rugby star Alex Dunbar will be back in the Scotland team this weekend following an injury.

Dunbar, 27, who grew up in Johnstonebridge and used to play for Annan, has missed all the Six Nation’s clashes so far after hurting his leg.

But he was this week named in the squad ahead of the Saturday’s match against Ireland.

The Glasgow Warriors centre is renowned as a stalwart in defence and will be keen to back on the pitch after Scotland’s historic win against England on February 24.
