It was recently announced that club captain Tommy Muir and midfielder Josh Dixon had both penned new contracts which will see them remain at Galabank.
This season 27-year-old Muir has been pivotal as both a central defender and centre forward, while Dixon, 24, has earned his spot as a regular in the starting line-up.
Muir said: “It was a straightforward and easy decision to make after speaking with the gaffer.
“I’ve loved my five seasons here so far, Annan is a great club and I’m excited to be a part of it moving forward”
Dixon added: “I’m really happy to be signing an extension again. Although this season’s been tough, and we’ve not had the results we’ve wanted, personally for me to play 30 games is massive after my injuries in the past.
“I’ve enjoyed every minute and, again, I’m really thankful to the gaffer and all the staff for enabling me to do so.”
Boss Wullie Gibson admitted he was delighted to get both players signed up and revealed hopes to tie up more of this season’s squad in the coming weeks.
It was revealed that positive discussions have taken place with Charlie Maxwell, the club hopes to have news in the next week, while Aidan Smith has also been offered a new deal.
Gibson added: “We’ve obviously got Josh Todd already next season, Scott Hooper and Tommy Goss.
“Tommy is reacting really well on the training pitch, he’s returned to running and is showing good strength in both knees.
“He’ll be stepping up his rehab. I did say that I don’t think we’ll see him this season, but you never know.”
