Estonia experience for singer

GALLOWAY-BORN music artist Alx Romance was one of only two Scottish acts selected to perform at the recent Tallinn Music Week (TMW) in Estonia.

The TMW is an annually run international music industry showcase and conference festival in early April.

The event was opened by the president of Estonia, with over 1000 industry delegates from all over the world in attendance and 20,000 attendees over the duration of the event to watch the artists perform.

Originally from St John’s Town of Dalry, Alx performed in a prime slot on the Saturday night, receiving rave reviews from those in attendance.

He said of the conference: “It was a great experience overall, with a lot of professional growth available and many positive connections made.

“On a personal level it was a pleasure to spend some time in the beautiful city of Tallinn.”

Alx will next be active in the region at this year’s YouthBeatz festival at Parkfarm Showground.
