Euro double for pony pair

RIDER Kirstin McMurray and her homebred Highland pony Trailtrow Texa Beag enjoyed double success at the Longines European Eventing Championships held at Blair Castle, Perthshire at the weekend.

Kirstin and her mount, of Bellstown, Eaglesfield were crowned the Supreme Ridden Champion in the Highland Pony classes.
And the following day, they pair took Reserve Supreme Mountain and Moorland Ridden Champion. in the prestigious NPS Scotland final.
Kirstin and her pony have had a very successful summer, also qualifying for the Ridden Mountain and Moorland Finals at the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead in July and for the Horse of the Year Show in October.
