A PARK in Annan is set to be renovated after years of neglect.
Everholm Play Park lies just beyond Battery Brae, and has fallen into disrepair as of late.
The planter outside the park is barren and lacks flowers, the zip wire within the park lacks a wire and a seat, and the railings at the entrance are broken.
Dumfries and Galloway Council have already been made aware of the play park’s problems, and have been working on solving them.
Annandale South Councillor Sean Marshall said: “We’re fully aware of the problems at the park.
“I already had an enquiry about Everholm sent to me about the play stuffing within the park, and we’ve assessed all the damages within and around it.
“The situation is all in hand, we’re aware of the problems, and they council is already moving to discuss renovations.”
Mr Marshall stated that they will keep the community posted about any future news regarding Everholm.
