Farrell is new Stranraer boss

STRANRAER FC have announced their new manager.

Stevie Farrell has taken over at the helm of the Scottish League One side, who are currently sitting at the bottom of the table.
Farrell is no stranger to the Blues, having been the assistant manager at Stair Park between December 2012 and May 2015, as well as playing for the club in 1994.
He started his managerial career at Cumnock Juniors in 2009, taking over from former Stranraer boss Campbell Money, and rejoins the west coast club having spent the past year and a half as assistant to Stevie Aitken at Dumbarton, securing survival in the Championship.
Farrell will be in the Dumbarton dugout for the visit of Queen of the South, before taking charge of team affairs at Stranraer next week.
