A TALK on ‘missing people’ is taking place later this month.
Current figures show that a person goes missing every 90 seconds in the UK, and there are around 18,000 reports of missing people each year in Scotland.
Therefore, part of this year’s Public Protection Week programme, which runs 24–28 February, includes an online talk on “missing people” with the National Coordinator of The National Missing Person Framework Implementation Project, who will discuss the scale of the issue, how agencies work to support the families of missing people and how to support a person who has returned after being missing.
The online session on 24 February, 10am–11am, is open to all.
