Firm's year of fundraising

DALBEATTIE based IT firm, ETB Technologies has raised over £6000 for Macmillan Cancer Support in a year-long fundraising challenge.

Throughout 2023 staff took part in a series of fundraising events, including a charity football match at Islecroft Stadium, a sponsored 10,000ft skydive above St Andrew’s, and a coffee morning at Dalbeattie Town Hall.

Eight employees also participated in a Tough Mudder challenge, raising almost £3000 of the overall fundraising target.

The money raised will go towards supporting Macmillan’s mission to help those with cancer live life as fully as they can by providing physical, financial and emotional support.

ETB Technologies managing director Nick Stapleton said: “Giving back to the community has become an integral part of our culture at ETB and it’s encouraging to see the team’s enthusiasm towards these kinds of initiatives.

“The success of this year’s fundraiser is a reflection of the team’s dedication to supporting such an incredible and worthy organisation.”
