BUDDING culinary stars from the region are being encouraged to enter NFU Mutual’s ‘Inspirational Young Person Award’ as nominations are now open.
The award was launched by the commercial insurer in partnership with industry leadership body Scotland Food & Drink, and is entering its seventh year.
It focuses on up-and-coming 16-26 year olds in the industry in order to better progress them.
First, second, and third-place winners will be awarded cash prizes of £500, £300, and £200 respectively; they will be announced in September during Scotland Food & Drink Month.
Nominations are open until July 11.
