MARCHMOUNT Bowling Club held the annual Macauley Mcqueen Memorial American Triples competition last Saturday with a full entry of 24 triples.
Winners this year were the trio of John Jarvie, Billy Haining and Kirsty Haining. Runners up were Colin and Kate Peacock with Robert Mclemon; third place went to Alan Glendinning, Ian Cronie and Aileen Carson.
The prizes were presented by Steve Mcqueen, who thanked all the family members for attending the event and those who participated.
The sum of £405 will be donated to Nith Inshore Rescue from the proceeds of the raffle.
Thanks have also been expressed to all members and visitors who contributed to the raffle, as well as event sponsor JW Jardine Transport/Jardine Logistics and Les Maxwell, Dumfries True Blues, for his donation.
