A WOMAN is recovering after she was hurt while biking in Ae Forest.
Moffat Mountain Rescue and Police Scotland came to her aid just after midday on Saturday.
Twelve members of the rescue team responded to the callout, along with paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service.
On site, they assessed her injuries and she was treated by the paramedics and one of the Moffat team doctors, paramedic and remote rescue medical technicians.
A stretcher and wheel were also taken to the remote location to assist with her extrication.
The woman was given heat pads and pain relief, while her limb injury was aligned and immobilised in a vacuum splint, then she was packaged into a casualty bag and stretchered off the hillside to a waiting ambulance.
Further assessment followed at hospital.
A MMRT spokesperson said: “We wish them all the best in their recovery.”
