Generator theft

A GENERATOR worth £500 has been stolen from a garage at Collin.

Police have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries in the village following the raid at a property in Braehead Avenue overnight Tuesday to Wednesday when the red Honda make wheeled generator was taken.

Constable Anthony Cropley at Dumfries said: “Whilst the generator was on wheels it does appear that a vehicle must have been used to take it away from the scene.  We want to hear from anyone in the village who might have seen or heard anything suspicious either last night or early this morning.

“Information can be passed to us through the 101 number, or if they want to remain anonymous then through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
