The recent spell of cold weather has disrupted the usual training schedule for the squad. This week they swapped boots for trainers and went indoors for a bike session at Annan Wattbike studio.
Goss, pictured above, said: “It’s been difficult trying to get training with the weather just now.
“We had to do a spin class on Tuesday as the pitch was frozen.”
After a rare free week, confidence remains high ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Bonnyrigg Rose. Annan are coming off the back of a 3-1 victory away to East Fife where Goss notched Annan’s second goal.
He said: “The boys are feeling good after the East Fife win.
“We’ve been really good away from home so far this season, so now with three home games coming up and on the back of the last win we will be looking to try and take maximum points.
The hitman has been in fine form so far this campaign, hitting the back of the net 12 times in 17 league appearances, although his ultimate goal is for the team to do well regardless who gets on the scoresheet. He added: “At the start of the season my aim was to try and get 20 goals.
“I’m not looking too much into that just now though, I’m more focused on helping the team do well and climbing up the table because we deserve to be in the play-off positions.”
