The three-year-old Glasgow-based dog clocked 28.84 seconds finishing a comfortable four lengths in front of local fancy Smiler, a 6/4 shot.
Gretna track regular Mike Walsh got off to a good start in the opening sprint race with his entry Ballydoyle turning in a powerful performance.
The three-year-old dog edged ahead in the closing stages to win by a length in a fast field.
Next across the line was Cobweb, a three-year-old bitch owned and trained by Dexter Clark at Kirkbride.
There was a winning double over the same distance for another local owner when the Wiggins kennels achieved victories with Wiggy’s Black and Wiggy’s Sky.
Meanwhile, the honours in the 300 metres open sprint race went to Snow from Ricky Nelson of Glasgow and in the 100 metres open race to Moth, trained at Kilmarnock’s Hillan kennels.
Finally, Gretna racing director Craig Norman is accepting entries for one of the Autumn’s main feature competitions at Halcrow Stadium, the Noggs Gretna 470 metres Derby, which begins with the heats on October 23 and offers a £1500 first prize.
