In the opening sprint race his four-year-old bitch Flaming Rosie led the way to cross the line almost a length in front of fellow 5/4 shot Satchmo, a two-year-old owned and trained by Lanarkshire-based Colin Jackson.
The second Hopper victory saw his three-year-old dog Aguero win by two lengths over the same distance from Maurice Lawman’s Workington dog Unlock.
Outsider Magic Mac looked impressive over the 470 metres trip.
The three-year-old dog from Mark Little of Carlisle powered home at 3/1 ahead of fancied Newcastle dog Heist.
