The three-year-old fancied black dog, owned and trained by Davie and Ruth Crosbie of Wamphray, had the edge in the run-in from fellow Scots entry Another Wons, a 19-month-old dog from Rickie Nelson of Wishaw.
Later, over the middle distance, Dumfries-based runner Mollie looked impressive.
The two-year-old bitch, owned and trained by Keith Geddes, led from the first bend to win by three lengths from ELO, a three-year-old dog from the McKenzie kennels at Workington.
Meanwhile, of a new 280 metres competition at Halcrow Stadium for track dogs has been announced.
The Burnside Feeds (Ecclefechan) Trophy will begin with the heats on February 17 and culminate with the final on March 3.
