LOADS of free activities are going to be taking place in local communities across the region during the summer holidays.
They will be available from Friday 4 July until Wednesday 20 August and are specifically aimed at five to 16 year olds.
There will be something for everyone and it’s also a chance to meet up with friends and make new friends.
It ranges from sports, arts sessions, free leisure facility access, summer camps, workshops on different topics, day trips and creative and performing arts sessions and much more.
Highlights include pizza and pamper nights in Heathhall; swimming in Sanquhar; summer on the farm at Mossburn; a DJ night in Langholm; a family fun day in Eastriggs; a trip to Belfast’s Titanic Museum from the Glenkens; opportunity for young carers to go to Glasgow Science Centre; teen art workshops in Dumfries and Kirkcudbright; free films at Robert Burns Centre in Dumfries; textile club at Gretna Day Centre;
