IT’S now possible to borrow an instrument like a book from the region’s libraries.
They are working with the council’s music service and Dumfries Music Collective to launch an instrument loan service from libraries across the area.
With the help of Music Education Partnership Group and Creative Scotland, people will be able to loan over 20 instruments to learn, play and experiment for free.
The array will include guitars, ukuleles, trumpets and violins.
