It's a wash out

EXTREME flooding is plaguing parts of the region today.

Police have issued a warning to drivers to slow down and ensure their lights are on.

Heavy rain has resulted in localised flooding on many roads right across the region, including on the A75, the B722 near to Eaglesfield, Shore Road, Glencaple has suffered damage as a result of flooding – the road is passable with care.

The Lockerbie to Annan main road is flooded in parts – see main picture taken by Laura Sproat.

The M74 is also experiencing flooding on the carriageway between junctions 18 & 19 southbound.

Jamie Anderson took this video of the M74 https://www.facebook.com/jaimie.anderson.90/videos/2352092715050355/

Are you experiencing flooding? Stay safe and if you’re able to take a picture and send to [email protected]
