Galloway Activity centre and Access Parkour are two of the organisations offering free taster sessions and activities during the day at the free music event organised by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
The activities will include a pop-up mountain bike arena, a climbing wall, laser tag and bubble football.
The Arboria II Luminarium will also be on site for an immersive, colourful and illuminative experience with its maze of winding paths and soaring domes meld into an inspiring mix of design and engineering to provide you with the ultimate immersive, sensory experience.
There will also be an inflatable zone with gladiator duel, dart quest, human table football, a giant slide and rodeo bull.
And there’s a children’s tent for under 12s with magic, storytelling and entertainers.
Meanwhile, this year’s headline acts are Pixie Lott and Ella Eyre on Saturday; and John Newman, Jonas Blue and vengaboys on Sunday, as well as a raft of local performers on the second stage.
Councillor Archie Dryburgh said: ”We are delighted with the range of activities on offer for children and young people at the festival this year!
“The event has a significant impact on our local communities and volunteers have been working tirelessly to come up with the wide range of activities on offer.”
All of the daytime activities are free and will be running on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 6 pm.
