Kerstin sets sights on GB triathlon success
SPONSOR CALL . . . triathlete Kerstin Dodd will be representing Great Britain at the European Championships in the summer

The 22-year-old will represent Great Britain Age-Group in Madrid at the European Championships in June.

The competition is self-funded and Kerstin is therefore seeking financial support to help cover fees associated with competing.

She said: “I will be competing in the European Championships in Madrid on June 3, racing in the Olympic distance competition.

“This is a 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and a 10km run. I have had numerous age-group successes over the last year and I was delighted at getting selected for the European Championships.

“Due to the sport and competitions being completely self-funded, I am looking at sponsorship opportunities with local businesses.

“I have space for business logos to be printed onto the front of my GB triathlon suit which will be worn at the Europeans and at national and regional competitions. This would give your business coverage at international, national, and regional level.

“Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated and help me represent Great Britain in this venture whether financially or support with equipment.”

The total estimated cost of the championships is over £1400 which will include entry fees, accommodation, flights, equipment and nutrition.

The estimated figure does not take into account any of the training and maintenance costs.
