LOCHAR Thistle veteran duo Blair Steele and Craig Adamson have made the difficult decision to hang the boots up.
Both players have been a big part of the Dumfries club’s success over recent seasons with contributions coming on and off the park.
Steele originally joined the club in 2013 when Lochar first entered the South of Scotland League and had been a mainstay in the midfield before dislocating a shoulder at Bonnyton Thistle that curtailed his involvement for a couple of years.

Steele was back in the fold three years ago and had been back to his best which culminated in him being a league champion. Steele finishes with 264 appearances for the club.
Adamson moved to Lochar from Abbey Vale at the start of Chris Jardine’s reign and has been a vital player both on and off the park, with his experience being crucial especially in the league title run-in. Ado played 78 games over three seasons at the club.

Meanwhile, Lochar have completed the signing of midfielder Greig Corbett. The ex-Abbey Vale skipper returns to Wilson Park having come through the youth ranks for many years.
Also signing is forward Cammy Shaw and under 20s captain Harvey Craig will be making the step-up.
Scott Milligan and Rory Copland have both extended their contracts.
