LOCKERBIE has been under represented over the past few years for available funding from windfarms.
That was the message from Southern Uplands Partnership’s Jamie Dent to community councillors last week.
Mr Dent gave an overview of available funding from windfarms, project support help and ways to secure additional grants/funding.
He stated that the town has been “under represented” in the past years and stressed that he wishes to support more community activity and funding requests.
There is a max grant of £30,000 and a pot of £180,000 for Annandale and Eskdale.
Mr Dent added that match funding is also very important for projects.
