Westlands Country Park, near Kirkpatrick Fleming, will use the funding from HSBC to support the development of a new restaurant and bar, country clothing shop and gun room.
It has also allowed them to implement recently granted planning permission for a further 46 lodges, to add to the 27 already there along with 32 caravans.
And owners Border Caravans are also hoping to expand their team of eight staff to support the continued growth in the tourism economy.
Park managing director Brian Wetherley said: “We are delighted that the new hospitality facilities will be open to our customers in the not-too-distant future and we look forward to reopening again once it is safe to do so.
“The backing from HSBC UK has ensured that the construction of these ambitious developments have been possible.”
