Mask making keeps Norma busy

A LOCHMABEN resident has been keeping busy during the unusual times of 2020 by making masks to raise money for Castle Loch.

Norma Foggo, a volunteer with the Castle Loch Lochmaben Community Trust, has stitched and sewn a multitude of face coverings.

And her handiwork is now being sold to help towards the upkeep of the loch nature reserve.

Trust project officer Darren Flint has thanked Norma for her help and said: “When I’m at the cottage I’ll leave them outside, other times I’ll leave them in the loch side cottage back porch, which isn’t locked. Please pop donations through the front door letterbox.”
