Meat load blocks A75

A LORRY driver was taken to hospital with glass in his eye following a three vehicle crash which blocked the A75 all day on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old man from Northern Ireland also suffered minor cuts to his head and arm following the smash near Carsluith at 3 am.
He was the only person injured in the accident and was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, but has since been released.
His blue Scania artic was in collision with a red Mercedes Actros lorry carrying parcels, oil and liquid, and a black Scania artic carrying an excavator and digger.
