The team of 24 participants from Annan, Langholm and Moffat academies and Maxwelltown High School participated in a number of track and field events at the Scottish Disability Sport (SDS) National Junior Athletics Championships at Grangemouth Stadium.
And the team, which was arranged by Dumfries and Galloway Disability Sport in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council’s leisure and sport team, were overjoyed to win 19 gold, seven silver and ten bronze medals.
Disability development officer Laura Vickers said: “I would like to congratulate all the athletes on their exceptional performances and would like to thank the coaches and teachers for all their hard work in preparing the athletes for this event .”
