Milk moo-chine

AN Annandale farm has teamed up with an Annan store to offer customers a new range of delicious milk.

A vending machine has been installed at Atwal’s shop in Newington offering Katie’s Coos farm fresh whole pasteurised milk and milkshakes, made locally by Billy and Jo Halliday, of Kirkpatrick Fleming.

Hardip Atwal, pictured with Jo, says it’s going down very well with shoppers and added: “The machine uses re-useable glass bottles so it’s good for the environment.

“We are the only location in the UK in the convenience sector to have such a machine indoors. The milk comes from just down the road, you can’t get any fresher than that!”
