Missing Scouts found safe and well

AN RAF helicopter was scrambled after a group of five children went missing in the Forest of Ae on Monday.

The search and rescue helicopter as well as emergency services and Moffat Mountain Rescue Team launched the search shortly after 10.15 pm to find the Scouts, aged from 10-13.
They were found shortly afterwards and no-one was injured in the incident.
The group, believed to be from 2nd Heald Green Scout Group in Manchester, consisted of four boys and one girl and are thought to have been taking part in a day-long independent hike.
