WELL DONE . . . Aardvark CEO David St John-Claire, left, receives their award from Major General Bob Bruce at last week’s ceremony

Aardvark Clear Mine Limited has been awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award, the highest level possible.

They specialise in designing mechanical land mine clearance equipment, and counts six NATO armies, including the United Kingdom’s Armed Forces, among its clientele.

A spokesman said: “The Aardvark Group is proud to be a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, recognising the immense value that armed forces personnel bring to civilian employment through their discipline, integrity, and exceptional work ethic. The veterans among the Aardvark team exemplify these qualities, and we are committed to championing the employment of veterans and reservists across other organisations.

“We are deeply honoured to have received the Gold Award in the Employer Recognition Scheme, a testament to our commitment to supporting the armed forces and veteran communities.”

The award was presented by Major General Bob Bruce CBE DSO at Edinburgh Castle last week.
