ALTERATIONS to Moffat’s cottage hospital are expected to be finished by the end of March.
After a consultation last year, it was eventually decided that GP services would relocate to the cottage hospital but there would be no return to in-patient services on the site.
Moffat and District Community Council chairman Liam O’Neill provided a small update to members this week.
He said: “I’ve been told definitely the works will be finished, if not almost finished, by the end of March.
“Hopefully we can progress this quickly so people don’t need to travel to Dumfries for certain services in the near future.”
