A NEW committee has been elected for Dumfries and Galloway District of Young Farmers.
The new office bearers for 2024-5 were elected at the AGM at the Woodlands House Hotel in Dumfries on Sunday night.
Taking the chair is John McCulloch, with Ross Campbell as vice chair; Elspeth Purdie is secretary with Rachel Young as assistant; treasurer is Lauren Nelson, assisted by Milly Smith; stockmanship convenor is Ailsa Buchanan, helped by Angus McClymont; and the agri and rural affairs representative is Lauren Nelson.
Thanks were expressed to the outgoing district committee, especially chair Louise Paterson and past secretary Laura McCulloch, for their huge efforts helping Dumfries and Galloway members achieve some amazing successes over the past 12 months.
