New DGRI on track

THIS aerial photo, released today, shows the progress of the new £212m Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary at Garroch Loaning.

It is on track to open in December 2017 and will have 344 single rooms for patients.

But NHS Dumfries and Galloway have revealed it doesn’t have a name yet and they are considering what to call it.
