Kettleholm’s WWI war memorial has been relocated following the closure of St Mungo Church.
It is now at the Kettle-holm hall where it can still be viewed by all the community.
The church bell was previously moved there too

Dumfries soldier completes first overseas NATO exercise
A YOUNG soldier from Dumfries, currently serving in the 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (4 SCOTS), has returned home after successfully completing his first major overseas deployment.
