The ribbon was cut on The Sandpiper at the Queensberry Bay Leisure Park, which is run by Verdant Leisure.
The modern, open plan development also includes a shop and the main reception area.
It has panoramic views across the Solway Firth and is open to park guests and locals.
Verdant chief executive Graham Hodgson said: “The Sandpiper is a welcome addition to Queensberry Bay and will enhance the experience of the hundreds of holiday home-owners and holiday guests that visit the park each year.
“The team at Queensberry Bay, led by general manager Terry Rogers, has worked extremely hard to get the park ready for a safe re-opening in 2021. The Sandpiper is open to all and we look forward to welcoming both our own guests and the local community alike.”
And he revealed they are expecting a busy season, saying: “Dumfries and Galloway is a very popular holiday destination in the UK with more people choosing to enjoy their staycations here than ever before. We have already seen a fantastic 190 per cent increase in bookings when compared to the same point in 2019.
“Verdant Leisure is committed to consistently improving our parks for the enjoyment of our holiday home owners and holiday guests and, in addition to The Sandpiper, we have invested over £600,000 in new pitch developments and additional holiday accommodation at Queensberry Bay for 2021.”
