Festive film

ANNAN’S Lonsdale Cinema will be helping moviegoers get in the festive mood with the screening of a brand new Christmas film set in Scotland.

Lost At Christmas will be shown from the day of its release, December 4.

It tells the story of Jen (Natalie Clark) and Rob (Kenny Boyle), who cross paths whilst they are separately stranded in Fort William on Christmas Eve. Both newly single and without company, they journey together in an old car in an attempt to make it to their respective family homes in time for Christmas.

But when the aged vehicle inevitably gives up on the pair halfway through the journey, they find themselves stranded further – this time at a remote inn where guests are unwelcoming to Christmas cheer.

Directed by BAFTA nominee Ryan Hendrick, Lost at Christmas also stars Sylvester McCoy (Dr Who / The Hobbit), Sanjeev Kohli (Still Game) and Clare Grogan (Gregory’s Girl).

Ryan said ahead of the release: “I am beyond thrilled our festive heart warmer is heading out into the world. It was a thrill to make and be surrounded by such a group of talented artists.”
