MOFFAT Theatre is holding open auditions for their autumn play next week.
The Weir by Connor McPherson is an award winning play set in a bar in a remote part of Ireland. Four local men are swapping spooky stories to impress a woman recently moved in from Dublin. But she turns the tables on them.
It’s a rich, vivid and wonderfully funny play with five strong meaty parts for four men and one woman.
The director is Bill Dawson and there will be four performances from Wednesday September 17 to Saturday September 20 with rehearsals in August and early September.
Auditions will take place on Tuesday April 29 and Thursday May 1 at Moffat Theatre. All levels of experience are welcome, those auditioning should be prepared to try an Irish accent.
