Pal plays TV joke on friend

A LOCHMABEN man could be offered the chance to strip on TV, thanks to his joker pal.

Bus driver James Murray, 22, from Lockerbie, emailed dating show Naked Attraction, where contestants strip off for the chance to win a date, pretending to be his friend, Stuart Smith.

Titling the email ‘Hunk of an entry’, he wrote to producers to say: “My name is Stuart Smith, I live on the outskirts of Lochmaben with my dog Roxie.

“I am 26-years-old, although I don’t look a day over 40!” He also submitted his pal’s mobile number.

And last week producers got in touch to see if Stuart was still looking for love and offering to arrange a chat with the Lochmaben local to discuss his prospects of appearing on the show.
