IT’S not just boys and girls that get to visit Santa at Caledonia Park in Gretna.
For the shopping centre held its annual and popular Santa Paws event last week, in partnership with Oak Tree Animals’ Charity.
And 128 dogs turned up to see the man in red, helping to raise £938 for the animal charity.
Oak Trees representative Caroline Johnson said: “We are absolutely paw-struck by the success of the Santa Paws event at Caledonia Park Designer Outlet.
“The funds raised will make a significant difference to local animals in need. We are truly grateful to Caledonia Park Designer Outlet and all the pet owners who participated.”
Centre director Scott Wells added: “We are delighted to have kicked off our Christmas events by hosting the fur-tastic Santa Paws. Seeing the joy, it brings to families and their beloved pets is truly heart-warming. We would like to thank all the participants for their support and generous contributions.”
