DUMFRIES and Galloway LGBT Plus has announced the launch of its new book titled “This is My Story.”
It compiles authentic stories, poems, and art pieces from LGBT+ people within the Dumfries and Galloway area.
There will be a variety of launch events in Dumfries and Stranraer to celebrate the book and those who contributed to the final product.
“This is My Story” focuses on personalising and celebrating the members of the LGBT+ community. The various modes of storytelling pull at the reader’s heartstrings, showcasing all the ranges of emotions the authors felt at each point in their lives. From joy to challenges, readers can step into the author’s shoes to learn more about their stories.
The book not only celebrates the LGBT+ community but also ten years of the organisation.
