Police refresh witness call

POLICE have once again appealed for witnesses to come forward to a series of housebreakings in Annan.

Detectives are still investigating the incidents which occurred in Annan, as well as Dumfries, and have various similarities.

They all happened between Thursday February 22 and March 16.

A force spokesperson this week said: “While there is no evidence to confirm they are linked, there are similarities to each case and many resulted in valuable personal items being stolen.

“Officers are appealing for information on four vehicles which they believe are linked to the housebreaking incidents. Vehicles assessed as having been used in these crimes are similar to a grey Audi RS3 and a black BMW 3 series.

“All the incidents occurred late afternoon or early evening.”

Anyone who has any information should contact Police Scotland via 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 anonymously.
