ANNAN Harbour was a little patch of heaven last Saturday for its first ever pumpkin patch.
Annan Harbour Action Group were “delighted” to host the event to celebrate the spooky season and Community Land Week.
Visiting a pumpkin patch has become a popular day out for families and couples and the Annan Harbour event proved no different, as excited children rummaged through the grass to choose their pump- kins, followed by carving and painting.
Other activities included creating pumpkin lanterns, spooky lollipops, and Halloween masks.
A spokesperson for Annan Harbour Action Group said: “Our pumpkin patch proved very popular in the community; within the first hour we sold close to 100 pumpkins!
“As the afternoon progressed, the rain and wind battered our gazebos leading to a premature end to the day but we want to thank every- one who ventured down to our patch and supported us. Despite the weather, we hope you had a great day.”
